Trinity College London Press announces new publications in print and digital formats

New publications have been released by Trinity College London Press, the publishing wing of the independent exam board Trinity College London

Trinity exam board‘s new publications are aimed at students preparing for Trinity piano and strings examinations.

‘A Recital Anthology – Piano Solo’ provides a showcase repertoire of 21 recitals from the ACTL repertoire for Music Performance Diplomas in Piano from 2019. The collection was edited by the celebrated pianist, Steven Osborne and spans four centuries and many genres of composition. Popular pieces share space with less well-known works to give a broad range of options to performers, whether for Trinity exams or just for personal pleasure. Print copies cost £28 and the ebook costs £22.50.

The ‘Sight Reading – A Progressive method’ books are now available for piano and strings to provide a complete guide to mastering the craft of sight reading. Published in three volumes per instrument to cover the various grades, the method books are available for piano, violin, viola, cello and double bass. 10 lessons are included per grade, covering time signatures, articulation, dynamics, harmonic language, level-appropriate tips and official Trinity specimen tests across a wide range of musical styles.
