Tileyard Education, the postgraduate and professional training facility based at London UK’s Tileyard Studios, home to The Prodigy, Sigala, Chase & Status, Lily Allen, Notting Hill Music and more, has formed an alliance with Hong Kong’s Baron School of Music to host a one-week music camp in the territory for aspiring commercial songwriters, artists and producers.
Running from 27-31 August 2018, the camp offers the opportunity to write songs for real-world commercial briefs as well as learn direct from industry professionals through daily practical classes and workshops in songwriting, vocal performance, audio production and the latest developments in music business. In addition, songs created on the camp will be assessed by commercial clients, offering a genuine opportunity to win paid work and build international networks.
Course presenters include Nicole Russo (Unity Vocal Academy, Brand New Heavies, Rae and Christian, Mousse T), Paul Whalley (Mumford & Sons, Ellie Goulding, Little Mix), Billy Alexander (Chunky Onion Productions, Hong Kong), Harry Leckstein (Tileyard Education, Urban Collective, One Minute Silence) and Elle Halley (Runway Paris, Goldie Magazine, Krems University Danube).
