About Backstage Academy
Launched in 2012 in Viterbo, Italy, by Francesco Finch Russo and Federica Sciamanna, Backstage Academy began as a rehearsal room and grew to a music centre, recording facility and performance space.
Today, the Academy has expanded to Spain and boasts more than 200 students in its programme. It accommodates artists who want to study recording and production methods and hosts over 150 bands, which make use of its recording studios, as well as events and production agencies, which use its video and photo studios.
In addition to Tileyard Education, Backstage Academy has partnered with international brands such as Scuderie Capitani Music Academy, D’Addario, Tama, Zildjian and Promark.
