Tido Music expands partnership with MUSIC:ED to give musicians, students and teachers access to premium music application

Technology company Tido Music's global partnership with MUSIC:ED will give users across the UK and SE Asia access to its premium subscription service.

MUSIC:ED, the online media platform, and technology company, Tido, have announced an expanded global partnership giving music students, teachers, educational institutions and industry partners in the UK, Hong Kong and South-East Asia access to a diverse selection of music and resources via Tido’s premium subscription service.

Available as an iPad app or via desktop browser, Tido Music provides a fast-growing library of over 7,000 piano and vocal scores, comprising classical, jazz and educational repertoire from leading publishers such as Bärenreiter, Edition Peters and Faber Music. Scores are synchronised with professional recordings from distinguished artists. Users will discover a range of innovative practice tools, such as speed-shift, pitch-shift, looping and annotation, and educational material including videos and written commentaries. The app even listens to musicians as they play, turning the pages of the score automatically.

Having recently opened an office in Hong Kong, MUSIC:ED will act as a local partner for Tido, providing support to Tido Music subscribers across the region. Tailored packages for schools, music centres and businesses are available as well as individual subscriptions. MUSIC:ED will also provide editorial coverage and will leverage media partners in Hong Kong.
