Technology company, Tido Music, has released an update to the Tido Music iPad app, an innovative music learning app for pianists and singers.
The update presents users with a brand new personalised experience and a refreshed design in parts of the app.
Users can now select their instrument, ability level and favourite composers when they open the app. After submitting their preferences, Tido Music instantly constructs a personalised home page featuring hand-picked, recommended content based on their choices. The existing Tido Music home page can still be accessed to browse the app’s extensive sheet music catalogue.
The update is an important step in Tido’s ongoing work on personalisation and curation.
Harnessing the power of digital technology and using it intelligently to serve the needs of musicians is a key objective of Tido’s – and surfacing content tailored to individual users is a key way in which this objective can be realised.
In his latest blog post, Brad Cohen, Founder of Tido, said:
‘The digital universe offers everything… in principle. Abundance does not equal quality, although it includes quality. The benefit becomes, more and more, about curation and selection.’
