Soundtrap For Education organises free summit for music teachers

Soundtrap, the cloud-based audio and music education technology company, will hold an online summit to help music educators develop new teaching methods for their students

Soundtrap, the cloud-based audio and music education technology company, will hold a free online summit between Monday 28 September and Wednesday 7 October to help music educators develop new teaching methods for their students.

The Soundtrap EDU Summit offers a programme of talks and networking opportunities with leaders in the field of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) learning, student storytellers and digital media creators from around the world. The aim is to share and develop new strategies for teachers to help their students find expression in music in ways traditional teaching might not achieve.

Soundtrap has devised the summit in partnership with Matt Miller, teaching pioneer and author of Ditch That Textbook. He describes the summit as, ‘A source of information at a time in our world when educators are struggling and already beginning to burn out.’

Matt Ottaviani, Head of Soundtrap for Education adds, ‘Knowledge is essential, but in order for students to become the best versions of themselves, we want to help educators pair instruction with lessons that unleash motivation and creativity, letting every student know they can make a difference in the world.’

Music teachers and others who are interested can register for the summit free here.
