Soundtrap announces Summer Creative Challenge

Soundtrap, the Swedish technology company, has announced a songwriting and podcasting competition for students, the Summer Creative Challenge

Soundtrap, the Swedish technology company, has announced a songwriting and podcasting competition for students, the Summer Creative Challenge.

Soundtrap is inviting young composers and podcasters to submit original entries, which must be over 1 minute long, by 15 August 2020. There will be six winning entries, with songs and podcasts chosen from the following grade bands: elementary (K-5), middle (6-8) and high (9-12).

The company said:

‘We know school has been extra challenging for our students this spring, and over the summer, it’s even harder for students to maintain the creative momentum that they’ve built over the school year. To help combat summer creative learning loss, students can use Soundtrap to stay fresh and create songs and podcasts while out of school.’

Winning entries will be published on the Soundtrap for Education blog and shared on social media.
