The organiser of the 2020 SEADOM (South East Asian Directors of Music) Congress, scheduled to take place in March at Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore, has announced the postponement of the event.
According to the SEADOM Facebook page, ‘With the increased developments in the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) throughout Southeast Asia, and the recent increased outbreak alert level to “orange” in Singapore, the Executive Council of SEADOM has determined that the 2020 Congress should be postponed until later in the year. The dates will be announced after confirmation with all the hosts and parties involved. The intention will be to keep the program and planning the same, so we can have a wonderful event together! Thank you for your patience over the past few weeks as we assessed this ongoing situation.’
