SEND Unlocked appoints RSL’s Fern Chantele-Carter as trustee

SEND Unlocked, a UK charity dedicated to supporting the SEND (Special educational needs and disability) community, has announced the appointment of Dr Fern Chantele-Carter, Head of Compliance at music examinations board RSL Awards, as a new trustee on their board.

Chantele-Carter brings over 25 years of experience in education and has worked in various sectors, including as a Governor of a SEND School and at UCL on the Sounds of Intent project.

SEND Unlocked provides tools and information for families, carers, and individuals with SEND to help them navigate complex application processes. 

SEND Unlocked’s CEO Emma Miller said, ‘We are thrilled to have Dr Fern join us as a trustee. Her wealth of expertise and experience in the education sector will be invaluable as we work to empower and support the SEND community.’
