Rachel Shapey, Founder of Secondary music composition website, I Can Compose, has been announced as a finalist in the Internet Industry Category of the 2018 Enterprise Vision Awards.
The Awards recognise women in business from across the North-West of England, with this year’s event taking place at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool, Lancashire, on 28 September 2018.
About I Can Compose
After finding few composition resources online, Rachel, a flautist, pianist and Secondary music teacher from Stockport, Manchester, launched I Can Compose as a place where GCSE and A Level students ‘could go to find inspiration and guidance for creating their own music’ and teachers ‘could access helpful resources either at home or at school’.
