The European Choral Association (ECA) has announced initial details of the 2018 Europa Cantat festival, the ECA’s flagship international event. The 2018 festival takes place in Tallinn, Estonia.
Europa Cantat XX offers opportunities for choirs, conductors and audiences, including 44 different offers for children’s, girls’, boys’, mixed youth, female and mixed choirs and National Youth Choirs. There is a wide range of genres, styles and languages, from pop and jazz to classical and folk.
The atelier (conference) programme will include sessions led by leading lights from the international choral world including Bob Chilcott, Tõnu Kaljuste, Daniel Reuss, Anu Tali, Merel Martens and Jānis Ozols. There are also performances throughout the event as well as a trade exhibition.
