Mark Pemberton Arts is the consultancy of Mark Pemberton OBE, an arts leader specialising in music and the creative industries. Its work spans strategic planning, public affairs, research, conference development and facilitation.
Mark supports organisations in addressing challenges, developing their direction and making their case to stakeholders. Clients have included Arcangelo, Music at Oxford, the National Youth Orchestra, Music Mark, the English Folk Dance & Song Society and the National Operatic and Dramatic Association.
His international work includes managing Audio Classique, the gathering of the classical recording industry, and curating Orchestras Now! in Wrocław. He also speaks at conferences and chairs discussions across the music sector.
Previously chief executive of the Association of British Orchestras for 15 years, Mark helped secure Orchestra Tax Relief and led advocacy during the Covid-19 pandemic. His earlier career encompassed theatre, conservatoires and community arts. He received an OBE for services to music in 2022.
