Supported by Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, One Dance UK, the UK body for dance, has announced its first ever conference season.
Over the course of one weekend, three conferences – the Dance Teaching and Participation Conference, Choreographers’ Conference and Healthier Dancer Conference – will see a series of lectures, workshops and networking activities for dance practitioners, with attendees invited to create their own timetables, tailoring sessions to meet their individual needs.
The conferences will run from 25-26 November 2017 in the Dance faculty of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Greenwich, London.
One Dance UK Chief Executive, Andrew Hurst, said:
‘We are thrilled to be presenting the very first One Dance UK Conference Season this November. One Dance UK is now the Sector Support Organisation for Dance in the UK and, with over 100 years’ expertise in dance, we feel a conference season combining the best of our knowledge and the knowledge of our members will prove a very productive platform. It is a great privilege to have Trinity Laban’s support in the delivery of this exciting weekend.’
