Read London Music Fund‘s interview with the young musician who is the organisation’s first Scholar of the month of the new decade.

‘In primary school, we had a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience where we could play the violin. I didn’t want the experience to end and I loved it as it was interesting. I stumbled across a violin player (Rob Landes) who was inspirational. Since then, I’ve been playing the violin.’

11 year old Olasumbo is in the second year of her Scholarship and is making brilliant progress on the violin. She is a dedicated and highly-valued member of both violin club and orchestra, and her sight-reading and technical skills are improving rapidly.
