National Youth Choirs Of Great Britain (NYCGB) has announced details of forthcoming auditions for prospective members of the organisation’s flagship ensemble, the National Youth Choir.
To audition for the National Youth Choir singers must be aged 18 on 31 August 2020 to age 22 on 31 August 2021 (to age 25 for current members re-auditioning).
NYCGB is committed to ensuring diversity among its membership: ‘The organisation passionately believes that choral singing is for everyone and strongly encourages all talented young singers to audition to join their choirs. Financial assistance is available towards the cost of auditions and membership.’
Auditions will take place in Manchester (3 May), Birmingham (9 May), London (16 and 17 May) and Gateshead (19 May).
Registration should be made online via the NYCGB website and is open from 30 March.
