UK-based music education platform Charanga has announced a new classroom instrumental programme.
First Notes To First Band is a collection of interactive resources for all types of beginner instruments, aimed at teachers looking to set up a school band.
There are four stages, or ‘Acts’. Over the four Acts, adaptable learning pathways are provided for over 25 instruments across brass, percussion, strings and woodwind. Each pathway allows subscribers to customise lessons, units and performances. Opportunities are also provided for complementary musical learning and discussion in the classroom beyond just learning the instrument itself.
Accessing Charanga
The new resource is only available to Charanga subscribers. However, a 30-day complimentary trial is available which gives full access to the platform, with no obligation to subscribe afterwards.
