Music learning app EarMaster has expanded its portfolio with the introduction of ‘Aural Trainer for ABRSM,’ a new in-app course. The new course is specifically designed to help students prepare for Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Grade 1 to Grade 5 examinations.
Aural Trainer for ABRSM provides interactive exercises that cover a wide range of skills necessary to pass ABRSM’s aural tests. These exercises include pulse and metre identification, echoing melodies, spotting differences between melodies, recognising musical features, melodic and rhythmic repetition, and sight-singing.
By simulating exam situations and challenging the same skills assessed by examiners, the app aims to enable students to approach their final aural exams with confidence.
Aural Trainer for ABRSM is compatible with all common software platforms, making it suitable for educational settings where students use devices running on different operating systems.
