New Heads of Learning and Teaching at ESTA Education

ESTA Education has announced the appointment of Heads of Learning and Teaching to lead the delivery of the organisation's Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching qualification.

ESTA Education has announced the appointment of Heads of Learning and Teaching to lead the delivery of the organisation’s Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching qualification.

The course, which is fully accredited at master’s level, is designed to complement the working lives of instrumental & vocal teachers who want to enhance their approach to teaching through a programme of academic and practical study.

The appointees are: David Barnard (Brass), Emyr Roberts (Piano), Andy Gleadhill (Percussion), Helen Sanderson (Plucked Strings), Sarah Crooks and Helen Dromey (Bowed Strings), Janet Munro (Vocal) and Paul Harris (Woodwind).


ESTA courses

ESTA postgraduate certificate (PG Cert)
The course was launched in 2017 and represents a partnership and collaboration with the University of Chichester in the UK. This international course is at Masters Level (level 7) and is delivered online, with one week of residential study at the University of Chichester campus. The course is delivered in English

ESTA Certificate for Music Educators (CME)
The Certificate for Music Educators (called the CME)  is a programme of professional development for anyone teaching music. It is validated by Trinity College London, at the standard of Ofqual level 4

ESTA Foundation Certificate for Teachers (ESTA CfT)
This is a programme of study run by ESTA Education and endorsed by the University of Chichester and Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. This course is currently available for teachers based in China, Hong Kong and South East Asia, who teach piano or strings
