CogX Festival aims to build a platform for change through bringing together the brightest minds on the planet from industry, government and academia and connecting them to challenge the status quo, spearhead innovation and shape the decisive decade ahead.

The event will bring together cutting-edge thinkers to address some of the most urgent and important issues faced by the world at the moment, particularly social stability, economic growth, innovation across all industries and the path to NetZero.

Around 1000 speakers will participate, including industry leaders, technologists, politicians, academics, scientists, authors and artists, targeting five ambitious goals:

  1. Inspiring current and future generations of leaders
  2. Moving conversations forward with concrete actions
  3. Celebrating the latest innovation — especially those related to the COVID-19 recovery and the climate

The conference runs from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. from 14-16 June, with music and the arts featuring prominently within the programme.

Oliver Dowden, the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, will give the opening speech. The CreaTech stage offer subjects for discussion such as Empowering Startups to Succeed in the Music Industry, New Platforms for Music and Music and Technology are among the topics discussed, plus a range of discussions around the future of education and health and well-being. The Creative Industries Council and CreaTech will jointly curate discussions on the implications of AI and 5G for production and distribution of entertainment.
