Menuhin School alumna wins prize at 2018 Carl Flesch competition

Louisa Staples, an alumna of the Yehudi Menuhin School in the UK, has been awarded who 2nd Prize at the 2018 Carl Flesch International Violin Competition in Mosonmagyaróvár, northwestern Hungary. The competition showcased the talent of 49 young violinists from around the world with a jury which included Eszter Perényi (Chair), Márta Ábrahám, Jurgis Dvarionas, Frantisek Novotny and Michael Vaiman.
