The College of Music at Mahidol University in Thailand has been ranked 47th for Performing Arts in the 2022 QS World University Rankings.
Institutions’ rankings are based upon academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.
The College was the first music institute in Thailand offering comprehensive degree programmes, including Pre-College, Undergraduate, Master’s and Doctoral programmes in many areas of music. There are 110 full-time faculty members serving over 1,200 students.
According to the College website, the new ranking ‘reflects the continuous outstanding performance of our amazing staff, students and alumni under the superb leadership of our dean Dr Narong Prangcharoen the past 5 years’.
