Unsung Heroes Cello Summer School
July 24 - July 29
£700

From the Summer School Director, Catherine Black
This is a fabulous week of immersion in a magical programme of music, attended by cellists from Europe and around the world.

The music we play will inspire your playing, develop your technique & open your imagination. We all need to be more rounded musicians, and a part of that is to understand more about musical architecture, phrasing and harmony and its historical context.
I have a set of musical and cellistic ideas to share and develop with you alongside building your ensemble skills.
I hope you will love being in the small, beautiful and friendly town of Lewes. The Unsung Heroes cellists have become a welcoming family.
Unsung Heroes courses
The Unsung Heroes Cello Ensemble workshops and 6-day Summer Course began in 2005. The repertoire is the evocative choral music of the Renaissance and Baroque arranged for ensemble. These courses are now attended by cellists from around the world.
