SCO Youth Academy
An event every week that begins at 2:00 pm on Sunday, repeating until November 29, 2020
Calling all ambitious young orchestral musicians! Would you like to perform with musicians from the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, make new friends and develop your musicianship?
About the course
The Academy offers a great opportunity for aspiring young musicians to work with expert SCO players over a series of five Sunday afternoons in the centre of Edinburgh.
When and where
The course takes place Sundays 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 November 2020 from 2-5pm in St Thomas of Aquin’s High School, Edinburgh.
Conducted by Gordon Bragg and tutored by SCO musicians, the SCO Youth Academy is open to school-aged orchestral musicians who have reached at least Grade 6 for strings and percussion (including timpani) and Grade 7 for winds and brass.
How to apply
