July 19 @ 11:00 am - July 21 @ 3:00 pm BST

Introduction

The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s online Classical Guitar summer school is a three-day course that will bring together young musicians who want to focus on improving their technical and musical skills.

This course is aimed classical guitarists aged 12–17 years who are looking for an intensive and inspirational learning experience with our renowned Royal Conservatoire of Scotland teaching staff. This course will be delivered on MS Teams and Zoom.

Students will develop skills which help them in further study, exam preparation, competition entry and practice planning. Each student will be reviewed on technique, musicianship and current level, enabling tutors to tailor the course to the individual’s needs.

The course will provide young musicians with an opportunity to:

  • develop technically and musically
  • gain valuable performance experience
  • receive advice for practice planning and examination/audition preparation
  • access guitar teaching of the highest level
  • meet like-minded guitarists

The course will culminate in an online performance for friends and family.
