South Asian Arts and Sitar Music Society present a month-long celebration and exploration of the artistry of sitar through workshops, performances and talks across the UK in commemoration of legendary maestro, Ustad Vilayat Khan Sahib.

Serendaded by Sitar

Representing the eighth generational link in an unbroken chain of musical talent, Shakir Khan will showcase the art of sitar in this intimate evening of playing.

The popular small group playing sessions will be run by a team of experienced conductors. Festival guests include Joris van Goethem of the Flanders Recorder Quartet and BLOCK4, and the opening concert will be given by Piers Adams and Red Priest.
