Event Description

Born to a family of musicians from Bucharest, Cristian Sandrin was initiated in the art of sound by his own father, later continuing his studies with Marina Dragomirescu and Cristian Dumitrescu.

Sandrin had his solo debut at the prestigious Romanian Atheneum Hall at the age of 13, and is now an award-winning musician. He shares his versatility in a live concert that will also be livestreamed on the St. Mary’s Perivale YouTube Channel.

David Syrus worked with The Rehearsal Orchestra on our annual Wagner weekend for several years and we’re delighted to welcome him back, this time for Mahler, with mezzo-soprano Angela Simkin and tenor Sam Sakker.

  • Rehearsals take place in the morning and afternoon, culminating in early evening open rehearsal.
  • Applications are invited from players who are Grade 8 plus and good sightreaders (or keen to improve their sightreading!).

Community Music Introduction to Music Technology & Production is a 10 week course is open to anyone who wants to learn new skills and get a taste for Music Technology and Production.

The course is designed for those with some limited previous experience or students progressing from the taster day programme.
