What you will learn

The three-hour session will give Early Years practitioners the knowledge, confidence and resources to use creative active music making as part of every-day activities in the setting:

  • Learn about the brain boosting power of music for early years development
  • Learn how musical activities can support school ready literacy skills.
  • Recap on the 7 aspects of Letters and Sounds Phase 1
  • Develop confidence in leading musical activities
  • Learn 25 new songs and ideas for engaging 3-5 year olds
  • Plan for implementation and evaluation

Boogie Mites’ School Ready Literacy Programme is an engaging, fun and exciting way of developing speech and language skills with our young children. It really helps children to listen and respond and paves the way for children to develop early phonological skills that start them on their journey to success at school. Boogie Mites songs enable children to develop their self-expression and creativity and are so catchy and easy to learn that you will be singing them in the setting all day long!
