Details of the 33rd World Conference of the International Society for Music Education (ISME) have been announced.
Running from 15-20 July 2018 in Baku, Azerbaijan, the conference will be hosted by ISME in collaboration with the Music Educators’ Society of Türkiye (MUZED) and the International Organisation of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY).
With an invitation from ISME President, Professor Lee Higgins, and Congress Chair, Professor Dr Uğur Alpagut, the conference will reflect ‘the lifelong learning, lifespan development and life-changing nature of music in people’s lives around the world’ in its theme, Life’s Journey Through Music.
