The Classic BRIT Awards 2018 has announced its support for the London Music Fund (LMF) by donating tickets to its scholars.

Twenty LMF scholars will be chosen to attend the event with their parents/guardians at the Royal Albert Hall on 13 June 2018. Their tickets will arrive in a golden envelope containing side stage passes to watch Classic FM presenters, Myleene Klass and Alexander Armstrong, introduce an array of performers including Michael Ball and Alfie Boe, Katherine Jenkins, Andrea Bocelli, Beatrice Rana, Bryn Terfel, Alexis Ffrench, Pretty Yende and Tokio Myers.

The London Music Fund’s vision

Established in 2012, the LMF’s vision is to help children who demonstrate significant musical ability, enthusiasm and commitment to learning an instrument across all London boroughs. Since then, over 9,000 young musicians have been given the opportunity to develop their potential through four-year scholarships and with opportunities to learn from and perform alongside professionals.

London Music Fund CEO, Chrissy Kinsella, said:

‘We are delighted to be working with the Classic BRIT Awards to offer these tickets to our young musicians. Enabling access to high-quality, exciting, professional performances is a big part of our scholarship programme and we are immensely grateful to everyone at the BPI for this once-in-a lifetime opportunity. I am certain that this will go a long way to inspiring the Classic BRIT Award winners of tomorrow.’
