Centre for Cultural Value webinar to assess Covid-19 impact

The Centre for Cultural Value presents recent research into international policy responses to the impact of Covid-19 on the cultural sector

The Centre for Cultural Value in association with the British Council has announced details of a webinar presenting findings from recent research into international policy responses to the impact of Covid-19 on the cultural sector.

Cultural policy responses to Covid-19: An international perspective will give an overview of different interventions internationally and explore the underlying policy models and structures that have influenced these. It will also reflect on how cultural policy might be reshaped and reimagined in a post Covid-19 future.

The event will include a short keynote by Professor Franco Bianchini followed by panel responses and a discussion chaired by Anne Torreggiani (CEO of The Audience Agency & Co-Director of the Centre for Cultural Value).

The panel comprises:

  • Chenine Bhathena (Creative Director of Coventry UK City of Culture 2021)
  • Moira Sinclair (Chief Executive of Paul Hamlyn Foundation)
