Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore is organising Performers(‘) Present, a triennial artistic research symposium ‘exploring, and reflecting upon, ways in which the moment of performance engages with the multifaceted concepts of ‘present’.’ The event takes place from 23-26 October.
The conservatory is inviting performers, performer-scholars, artistic researchers, creators and producers to submit proposals for performances, lecture-recitals, presentations, papers and collaborative panels which engage in philosophical explorations addressing the symposium theme.
The deadline for proposals is Friday, 17 May 2019. Decisions on proposals will be communicated by Monday, 1 July 2019. Selected proposals from international participants will be awarded a SG$750 (US$550, £420) grant as a contribution to attendance costs incurred.
