British Council invites UK creative hub leaders to social innovation hackathon in Thailand

The British Council is seeking four creative hub leaders from the UK to connect and collaborate with hub leaders in Thailand in tackling challenges of the Nang Loeng neighbourhood in Bangkok.

The British Council is seeking four creative hub leaders from the UK to connect and collaborate with hub leaders in Thailand in tackling challenges of the Nang Loeng neighbourhood in Bangkok. The event will take place on 16-20 March 2020. 

The hackathon aims to provide a platform for collaboration and exchanges between UK and Thai creative hubs to promote the role of creative hubs in the development of liveable cities and social innovation.

Selected applicants will be UK creative hubs working in the following areas:

  • Technology
  • Making, design and crafts
  • Social innovation and entrepreneurship
  • Culture and heritage
  • Environment and tourism
  • Art in public spaces
  • Performing and visual arts
  • Strong connection and experience working with local communities.
