£50,000 partnership grants offered to music hubs in England

National charity Youth Music has launched the second round of the Music Education Hub (MEH) Development Fund, offering grants of up to £50,000 for consortia involving at least three Music Education Hub Lead Organisations.

The grants are available to groups seeking to respond to the effects of lockdown and encourage hubs to collaborate more and to prioritise inclusivity in their programmes.

The grants are for between 12 and 18 month projects starting early on 2021 and applicants have until Friday 13 November to apply.

There are strict eligibility criteria to ensure the money is well spent, is solely for the teaching of music to young people and to ensure all professionals involved are paid at least the real Living Wage with the grant.
